Goal: $8,900 • Funded: $9,150
(2010) To support young practitioners (teens, twenties and thirties) on the path by making the three jewels easily accessible and to magnetize new and established young people to explore the wealth of Shambhala.
The Buddhist Youth Project is an organization started within Shambhala Europe to support young practitioners in their exploration and practice of Buddhism. BYP offers local and regional programming in Europe and in North and South America. Specifically the key aspect to keeping the youth project thriving and expanding is a website, including an on-line community. The goal is to use the site to make Shambhala ‘THE’ place to be for young practitioners.
