This grant will be used to kick-off the year-end fundraiser. Since fundraising is always on-going, it will also facilitate fundraising throughout the year.
There isn’t a specific capital project at this time as the funds will be used when needed,
DKD’s success in fundraising has enabled them to pursue significant projects such as major water system improvements, road improvements throughout the property, and now wildfire mitigation. They are limited in project scope by what they can fund and will apply whatever funds can be raise to support the mission of DKD: providing the unique opportunity for the practice of solitary retreat.
