The Arrow

Arrow+Logo+Vector+2Goal: $3,000 • Funded: $3,000

(2014) As problems of climate change, war, economic injustice, and ecological destruction become increasingly pressing, there is a need for Shambhala to engage directly with the fields of research and practice that investigate and act on such problems. Shambhalians need a venue for deepening their knowledge of the political, economic, and social systems that produce these problems, and the world needs meditation practitioners who can navigate these systems.

The Arrow is a scholarly journal that seeks to address these needs by providing a space for critical engagement between Shambhala Buddhist practitioner-scholars, academic scholars in the social sciences, and practitioners working in fields such as politics, economics, environmentalism, and health.
